Ministry Focus

The primary focus of the author’s nine books and ministry is to identify and discuss the key foundational principles and requirements for the complete restoration of the apostolic ministry demonstrated by Jesus in the four Gospels and the first century church, in the book of Acts:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.  (John 14:12)

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed everyone.  (Acts 5:12, 14-16)

Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.  (Acts 4:4)

This involves embracing the promises given the born-again believer and the vision of becoming a book of Acts Christian and church:  “These signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues,  . . . they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17-18).  “God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?” (Hebrews 2:4).

The Purpose of Miracles is to Point to the Miracle Worker

Miracles are represented by four Greek words in the New Testament: Semeion (a “sign”), Erga (“works”), Dunameis (“mighty works”), and Terata (“wonders”).  Since miracles transcend human ability and explanation, man cannot take credit for them. Therefore, by definition, miracles declare the presence, authority, power and glory of a supernatural God.  The greatest miracle of all is salvation and the resulting gift of eternal life.

If Jesus Christ (God in the flesh) exercised authority and dominion over disease and demons to launch  and  advance  His  ministry,  how can  the  church  operate  without the same today?  Over and over in the Gospels it is recorded that when they saw the miracles of Jesus, they believed.

If the New Testament church in the book of Acts needed a miracle ministry, with signs, miracles and wonders, to confirm the Word and reach their world, how much more the church needs the same today.  "And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen"  (Mark 16:20).  The results from the very first miracle, after the ascension of Jesus, was that 5,000 men believed (Acts 4:4).

The book of Acts contains 28 chapters, but it has no amen -- no ending. Many other chapters have been added over the past 2,000 years.  In these closing days of the Church Age, just before the second coming of Jesus Christ, the last chapter is being recorded. Will we be content to just read history, or will we be a part of the visionaries, innovators and trailblazers whose actions are recorded in the final frame?

  • Our world is waiting on a church that will equal and exceed the power and glory of the first church in the book of Acts -- one that can meet their desperate needs of deliverance, healing and salvation.

When we understand who we are as sons of God, we should say like Jesus:

"I must be about my Father's business."
